The Opportunity

 

Veolia Australia New Zealand is looking for an experienced Renewals Coordinator to lead the planning, programming and delivery of the Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) 3 Waters Renewal Programme.

Working under the Renewals Manager, you'll coordinate a team of renewal professionals and field operators to deliver annual 3 Waters network renewal work packages — playing a critical role in maintaining essential infrastructure across the Queenstown Lakes district.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Programme, coordinate and deliver the annual QLDC 3 Waters Renewal Programme
  • Scope and manage renewal work packages from planning through to completion\
  • Act as the key liaison between Veolia and QLDC on all renewal matters
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with QLDC stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on programme progress, budgets, risks and performance
  • Mentor and support the Veolia 3 Waters Renewals team
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards
  • Drive continuous improvement across the programme and team

What you'll need to be successful

What You'll Bring

  • Relevant qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years' experience managing brownfield infrastructure projects or renewal programmes
  • Strong understanding of 3 Waters infrastructure and renewal processes
  • Proven budget management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Solid knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency in project management software and Google Suite
  • Valid driver's licence

Advantageous:

  • Experience with NZ local authorities or utility companies
  • Knowledge of NZS 3910 and relevant NZ standards
  • Experience with asset management systems and GIS
