Veolia is seeking an exceptional Regional Lead to drive our water operations in the stunning Queenstown region. This is a pivotal leadership position where you'll shape the future of water services while making a meaningful impact on our people, community, environment, and business outcomes.

What you'll be responsible for

• Create and lead an effective leadership team that is outcome focused, visionary and inspirational
• Develop and maintain a delivery organisational structure that has purpose and focuses on essential outcomes for the workplace environment, people development, health and safety, quality, environmental, communities and company
• Ensure effective contract management principles are employed to ensure profitable and sustainable outcomes are achieved, and client relationships are maintained
• Ensure a work environment and culture that encourages and promotes open and honest communication, inclusivity, innovation, and succession and development opportunities
• Promote and expose the Veolia Brand to key 3 water regional stakeholders including Water Service Entities, Councils and other authorities, Associations, suppliers and competitors
• Promote and expose the Veolia Brand to future employees through participation in educational and training providers career and development programmes, brand awareness campaigns and industry forums
• Develop and participate in company essential initiatives and programmes
• Provide regular regional status update communication to inform our people and other internal and external stakeholders
• Participate and foster client, industry and community initiatives and innovations
• Collaborate with other Regional Leads, Discipline Leads and Corporate Office to develop strategies to advance business outcomes

What you'll need to be successful

  • Qualifications/Experience:
    • Tertiary qualification in a water discipline or management
    • 10 years leadership experience in the water industry
    • Competency with standard computers, tablets, mobile devices and their associated programmes (Google suites and/or Microsoft office)
