The Opportunity
This is a new role and would suit an experienced CCTV and Traffic Management Coordinator. In this role you will be accountable for the undertaking and technical delivery of CCTV campaign and programmed works on time and to the agreed quality and industry standard, within the region. Your people and communication skills will shine as you coordinate the traffic management team to ensure efficiency and engagement across all departments, and as you work together with the CCTV team leader to programme works for the network inspection campaign and liaise with the Networks Supervisor and team leaders to respond to RFS requirements.

What you'll be responsible for
The scope of the role is also responsible for the efficient programming of traffic management team programmes to ensure all other Veolia departments are best engaged to gain full utilisation of the traffic management assets. This will require the Coordinator to liaise with other departments around programming of Traffic Management and CCTV requirements to meet their contractual requirements.

Lead the technical delivery of all CCTV campaign programmes, meeting the Queenstown Lakes District Council's CCTV data requirements and contractual obligations.

Develop and manage efficient programme schedules for CCTV and jetting works, strategically coordinating activities and achieve the best possible operational outcomes across the full programme of works.

Coordinate the programming and deployment of Traffic Management teams in response to internal requests for service

Liaise proactively with the Networks Supervisor and Team Leaders to allocate and assign CCTV assets appropriately

Engage and communicate regularly with internal departments to understand and align with their Traffic Management and CCTV programming requirements

Monitor and report on programme performance
What you'll need to be successful
Experience:
● Understanding of NZ Traffic Management requirements for local Councils
● At least 2 years’ experience in CCTV data collection environment;
● Ability to deliver independent CCTV services in a client/customer facing environment;
● Ability to learn and understand changing Traffic Management requirements.
● Ability to understand and use appropriate Traffic management tools and equipment.
