The Opportunity
The CCTV Operator Assistant primary role is to assist the CCTV team to ensure safe, efficient and quality delivery of the CCTV inspection campaign across the Queenstown Lakes District. Ensuring Veolia processes and policies are followed to ensure achievement of Veolia’s and the clients outcomes. Secondary to the primary role is to assist the CCTV team in responding to Network related RFS jobs as they are raised and passed to the CCTV team.

What you'll be responsible for
Includes:
- Onsite delivery of wastewater and stormwater network CCTV inspections and flushing.
- Operate the flushing unit to clear/ unblock network pipes to suit with the CCTV campaign requirements or operational RFS requirements.
- Contribute to the regional based operations team as required.
- Ensure all fleet and equipment is serviceable and any issues or unserviceability is reported to the CCTV Team Leader as soon as identified.
- Comply with the requirements of Veolia New Zealand Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Policy Statements, including participation at local toolbox and health and safety meetings.
- Comply with the requirements of the company business management system to ensure wastewater and storm water networks contribute to the company commitment to provide safe, wastewater services that consistently meets or exceeds the requirements of theClient.
What you'll need to be successful
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- Confined Space, First Aid and Site Safe Certificate
- At least 1+ Years experience of CCTV operating.
- Proficient at operating CCTV systems and Jetting/ flushing systems.
- Previous experience in three waters network operations and maintenance is advantageous
- Computer literate.
- Current Class 1 New Zealand drivers licence
