The Opportunity
Join our ANZ Tax team as a Tax Accountant for various Veolia entitles. In this role you will be responsible for the assisting with the tax compliance and reporting activities of
Veolia Australia & NZ entities.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in our national head office in Pyrmont, NSW 2009.

What you'll be responsible for

Manage monthly/annual BAS returns and reconciliations for Australia and New Zealand, including general ledger analysis for tax adjustments

Handle PAYG income tax, withholding tax, fuel tax credits, payroll reporting, and FBT returns/instalments for all entities

Maintain ATO portal, historical payment schedules, and fixed asset registers

Assist with tax audits from ATO and other agencies, including preparation and management

Manage stakeholder relationships with ATO, regulatory bodies, and external tax consultants
What you'll need to be successful

Demonstrable corporate tax experience within either an inhouse or chartered environment

Progressing towards CA/CPA completion or Masters in Tax

Advanced or intermediate excel skills

Ability to work well with key stakeholders across Veolia
