Title: Senior Systems Analyst

The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Systems Analyst to join our team. Based at our corporate office in Pyrmont, you will be responsible for the application portfolio, support and continuous improvement of our operational systems, primarily in our Resource Recovery business. You will manage system changes, incorporate user requirements and deliver operational enhancements. You will play a critical role in maintaining the stability and security of our systems. Your expertise will be essential for troubleshooting and resolving system issues, implementing proactive maintenance measures, and ensuring our security posture meets the highest standards.
You will draw on your experience in project management and implementation, vendor management and business analysis to ensure the optimisation of critical systems for our business.

What you'll be responsible for
- Technical and functional analysis, addressing complex technical solution matters, recommending relevant solution options and participating in the development and implementation of system solutions to ensure effective operations
- Drive standard process and usage of the applications
- Drive maximum benefit of the applications within the business
- Provide input into the IT Strategy and Roadmap for operational systems
- Perform regular system maintenance tasks, such as system checks after patching, application upgrades and performance tuning
- Provide an advanced level of technical and system analysis in the support, maintenance and enhancement of applications.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and or optimisation.
What you'll need to be successful
- At least 3+ year’s hands-on experience in application systems, enhancement and support policies and processes including application management and configuration, system integration (APIs), Change management, risk management, quality assurance
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Systems/Technologies: SQL Server, Microsoft Windows Server, Power BI, APIs
- Experience in supporting, configuring and maintaining on-premise software, as well as managing SaaS subscriptions and integrations.
- Understanding of IP Networking
- Proficiency in using SQL to identify and resolve data-related application issues.
