The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join our team in Pyrmont. This opportunity is initially offered on a 12 month fixed term basis, with potential to be extended or made permanent. As a Payroll professional at Veolia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for Veolia Australia and New Zealand in accordance with VANZ policies and procedures.

What you'll be responsible for
- Payroll system improvement and acquisition project work
- Process monthly and weekly payrolls.
- Provide support to the National Payroll Supervisor and team
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and process termination payments accurately.
- Support payroll officers in fulfilling service requests and process transactions within agreed KPIs
- Assist the Payroll System Administrator with payroll configuration testing for EA renewals, new wage types etc.
- Continuous process improvements and efficiencies
What you'll need to be successful
- Payroll systems experience (SAP Success Factors, ECP preferred; knowledge of Kronos).
- 5 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
- Familiarity with payroll-related legislation and requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work to strict timeframes and deadlines
- High-level problem-solving and analytical abilities to resolve payroll and system issues
