The Opportunity
Join Veolia ANZ as a Procurement Systems Officer and become the vital link between our suppliers and internal operations. This role offers you the chance to be at the heart of our procurement function, maintaining our supplier onboarding process and supporting both internal buyers and external suppliers across Australia and New Zealand. You'll work with cutting-edge procurement technology including SAP Ariba, developing your expertise in procurement systems and processes.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Acting as the principal contact for supplier onboarding and SAP Ariba queries, coaching suppliers and internal customers via email and phone

Performing and monitoring accurate onboarding of new suppliers through the multi-stage process including vendor master data, ESG questionnaires, and banking verification

Resolving queries from buyers and suppliers via ServiceNow and procurement inbox, ensuring prompt resolution against agreed KPIs

Applying appropriate supplier checks and governance processes for existing suppliers including trading relationships and insurance renewals

Triaging and escalating complex queries to the Procurement Systems Specialist while supporting permanent resolution
What you'll need to be successful

Demonstrated understanding and interest in procurement or purchasing functions, ideally in a vendor-driven environment

Previous experience in a support desk or ticket-based support service role

Strong process management skills with experience in escalation and task management

Solid written and verbal communication skills with strong customer service orientation

Natural problem-solver with a keen interest in learning and challenging the status quo (experience with SAP, Oracle, or Vendor Management Systems highly desirable)
