The Opportunity
Veolia's Remediation Services team is seeking a Process Engineer to join our team, based in Pyrmont, 2009, with regular travel to sites across NSW and Qld. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our water treatment plants and other remediation projects, while contributing to developing and delivering new projects and initiatives.

What you'll be responsible for
- Contribute to the development and delivery of new and existing remediation projects, including day to day operations, project scoping, design, and commissioning
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and the required quality standards and within budget
- Develop, implement and update project plans, risk assessments, operational documents and quality control procedures to ensure successful project delivery
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that could impact project delivery and continued operation of the water treatment plants
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the operations team on process operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Stay up to date with industry developments and emerging trends in remediation technology and best practices
- Collaborate with other technical experts to share knowledge and best practices
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the technical capabilities of the operations team
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and expectations are exceeded
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
- Maintain critical spare part inventories for multiple water treatment plants and plan routine maintenance activities
- Operate water treatment plants throughout Australia from time to time
What you'll need to be successful
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering with eligibility to join Engineers Australia
- Experience working with Australian Standards & Legislation
- Willingness to travel and be based onsite in an operations environment
