Title: Payroll Officer

The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our team in Pyrmont. This opportunity is initially offered on a 12 month fixed term basis, with potential to be extended or made permanent. You will be responsible for supporting the accurate and timely payroll processing for Veolia Australia and New Zealand in accordance with VANZ policies and procedures.

What you'll be responsible for
- Managing end-to-end weekly payroll processing
- Setting up new employees, processing terminations and managing workflows
- Respond to payroll related queries
- Verifying Kronos records, ensuring Kronos records and interpretations are setting up as per EAs and Awards
- Support process improvement initiatives
What you'll need to be successful
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll processing within a large organisation (1000+ employees)
- Experience with payroll systems (SAP Success Factors, ECP, Kronos preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and ability to confidently interpret relevant Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements understanding of payroll legislation
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Good communication skills
