The Opportunity
This is the perfect next career step for a senior finance manager looking for a new national role with a market-leading, household name organisation. In this role you will partner with the General Manager Finace for our Environmental Services business unit to own and drive all aspects of finance for this key part of our business. You will draw on your outstanding business acumen and strategic thinking skills to drive profitability and manage costs as part of a cohesive financial strategy for the BU. You will collaborate with finance and operations teams to achieve sustainable growth and profitability, working through your state managers and their teams to achieve all goals and targets.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Execute profitability strategies
- Manage P&L accountability and financial performance
Create financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses
Support monthly business reviews and establish KPIs - Analyse costs, pricing, and margins
Review tender models and pricing structures
Drive process improvements and cost reduction - Implement financial controls and performance frameworks
What you’ll need to be successful
- Five to ten years in finance, 3+ years in leadership
- Proven P&L turnaround success
- Three to five years audit experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting/Economics
- CA/CPA/CFA (preferred)
