The Opportunity

Join Veolia’s high-performing national payroll team and play a key role in delivering accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll administration services to thousands of employees across Australia. You will provide administrative and operational support to the Payroll Team, maintain payroll data integrity, respond to employee enquiries, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of payroll services.

 

This role is initially offered on a 7 month fixed term contract basis, with possibility of being extended or made permanent.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Maintaining accurate payroll records,including allowances, deductions, tax files, and superannuation details
  • Managing the payroll inbox, allocation the payroll inquiries, managing staff queries professionally
  • Processing new starters, employee changes, and assisting with termination calculations
  • Coordinating daily payment requests and preparing banking documentation


What you'll need to be successful

  • No prior payroll experience is required.

  • Previous administration, HR, finance, or bookkeeping experience will be highly regarded.

  • Basic understanding of Payroll or HR processes is preferred but not essential
