The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Finance to join our Digital Business and Technology division in this national role. This is a unique opportunity to be part of our Senior Leadership Team, where you'll drive financial strategy and management across our digital initiatives while working with cutting-edge technology and complex systems. This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.

You'll have the chance to shape the financial future of our digital transformation, including the strategic Sonate Program, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

What you’ll be responsible for
 

  • Leading the financial management, planning, and reporting for all digital initiatives across the organisation
  • Driving budget processes, synergy savings and ROI methodology for digital projects and activities.
  • Managing the implementation of new accounting standards, including 'SaaS Accounting'
  • Developing and presenting financial strategies and reports to the CIO, CFO and executive team
  • Leading and developing the DB&T finance team while fostering strong business partnerships


What you’ll need to be successful
 

  • CPA/CA qualification with relevant tertiary education
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in senior financial management roles
  • Strong understanding of technology systems and digital transformation
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Proven track record in strategic planning and change management
