Veolia ANZ has a great opportunity to join a passionate and motivated HR team providing professional HR advice to one of our most important lines of business, Industrials and Energy. This is a business area that is undergoing significant growth, which will mean your role will see great variety and opportunities for you to add value as an HR expert advisor. This role could be done from our waterfront Corporate Office in Pyrmont (2009), but you could also be based from our office in Cameron Park (2285) if you are located in the Newcastle area.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Partnering, supporting and coaching leaders across several sites, enabling leaders to be successful
  • Negotiation of blue collar EAs
  • Working with centres of excellence such as Talent Development, Health and Safety, Talent Acquisition and HR Services to ensure collaborative business and HR outcomes.
  • Cyclical HR activities and involvement in Enterprise Agreements
     

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • HR qualifications and/or equivalent industry experience
  • Previous experience in a generalist HR role within an industrial/blue collar environment (minimum 5 years)
  • Experience in Enterprise Agreement negotiation, preferably in blue collar environments
  • Experience in the interpretation and application of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Capacity for some intrastate and interstate travel as required
  • Strong coaching skills with the ability to enhance capability
  • High level problem solving skills with the ability to identify issues, think creatively and recommend strategies, ideas and opportunities for resolution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
