We're looking for a technically strong Finance Manager to join our Transactional Accounting team on a 12-month fixed term basis. This is a hands-on role focused on technical accounting – interpretation, application, and ensuring the integrity of our general ledgers. You'll work closely with our Head of Reporting & Consolidation and Head of FP&A, with meaningful exposure to senior leadership and large, complex accounting projects.

What you'll be responsible for

• Leading the technical accounting function, including interpretation and application of Group and local accounting standards, and overseeing the monthly close process

• Managing monthly balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and external reporting

• Building and maintaining effective partnerships with Business Line and Segment finance teams, as well as external auditors

• Driving continuous improvement across accounting processes, systems, and controls, including contributing to the automation and digitisation roadmap

What you'll need to be successful

• Ideally Big 4 trained with a strong technical Accounting background and CPA/CA qualification

• Minimum 5+ years' post-qualification experience, with demonstrated experience in a managerial role, desired but not required 

• Deep technical accounting knowledge 

• Strong communicator, organised, and deadline-driven with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders
