The Opportunity


We're seeking an experienced Category Manager for our Procurement Team. You'll partner with stakeholders across multiple categories to plan, develop, source and manage procurement processes that optimize value with strategic suppliers.

Lead sourcing strategies (RFP, negotiation) for key categories including Fleet, Direct/Indirect Goods and Services, Supply Chain Operations, Professional Services, Property, Heavy Equipment, and Technology. Drive simultaneous projects while building strong cross-functional relationships.

What you'll be responsible for


• Manage end-to-end procurement processes and supplier relationships

• Develop and implement category management strategies delivering value and meeting stakeholder needs

• Identify cost savings,through robust data analysis, process and operational improvements, and sustainability enhancements

• Maintain category insights including market intelligence, spend analysis, and risk management

• Drive supplier consolidation and standardization initiatives

• Champion sustainability and social procurement initiatives

What you'll need to be successful


• 5+ years in Procurement Category Management or supply chain

• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contract management

• Strong project management experience across multiple concurrent projects

• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills

• Strong analytical capabilities and data-driven decision making

• Understanding of sustainability principles in procurement

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Tertiary qualification and professional procurement certification (desirable)
