The Opportunity


Veolia is looking for an experienced asset specialist to join our team of asset management professionals as an Asset Project Engineer. Based in our Pyrmont corporate office, but with plenty of opportunities to travel to relevant project sites, you will manage the effective implementation of  projects and regular activities that improve asset management systems, processes, and information. Working with a range of internal stakeholders, you will work to define and facilitate the strategic asset management for a range of Veolia projects in our Water and Resource Recovery business units.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Conduct asset management risk and performance reviews to ensure optimal performance and investment of maintenance and renewal budgets
  • Develop business cases for asset management improvement projects. 
  • Conduct project and planning meetings with stakeholders, including site staff, and report progress to head office staff
  • Guide the establishment and maintenance of plant asset registers and asset management databases. 
  • Provide maintenance reporting and planning input into the development of site-specific asset management plans.
     

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Several years’ relevant asset management experience with an analogous company
  • Bachelor of Engineering (mechanical, electrical or civil)
  • Site-based experience with capacity for liaison with relevant stakeholders
  • Driver’s licence and capacity for semi-regular travel.
