The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our finance team in our national head office in Pyrmont 2009. In this permanent full-time role you will deliver financial and strategic analysis in support of existing operations, investments and the long-term
sustainability of our national Water business.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Manage month-end processes including balance sheet reconciliations as well as performance analysis
  • Oversee statutory and internal audit processes
  • Handle financial reporting requirements including monthly and quarterly accounts
  • Manage debt reporting requirements
  • Coordinate tax compliance (GST and Income Tax)
  • Prepare annual forecasts, budgets, and financial reports
  • Complete water business analysis and monthly Veolia group reporting


 

What you'll need to be successful

  • CPA/CA qualified
  • Experience in a Senior Commercial Analyst/Finance Manager role
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organisation
  • High financial acumen with ability to act as an effective business partner to financial and operational staff
  • Demonstrated experience in financial analysis/reporting within a Finance business partnering capacity
