The Opportunity
Veolia is seeking Trade Assistants to join the Veolia team at the Alcoa Aluminium Smelter in Portland, Victoria.

What you’ll be responsible for
- Assisting tradespeople and skilled workers with industrial services that we provide to the Alcoa site.
- High-pressure water jetting
- Vacuum loading
- Manual Cleaning
- Equipment Operations e.g. Vacuum loader, Combo, High-Pressure Water Jetting units.
- Accurate completion of paperwork
- Drive Veolia's 'Always Safe' Culture
- Provide outstanding customer service
What you’ll need to be successful
- Experience within construction or blue-collar roles highly regarded
- A strong mechanical aptitude
- Current drivers licence
- Strong communication skills and willingness to develop new skills
- Commitment to maintaining safe work practices
- Ability to work both in teams and independently
