Title:  Operations Support Officer

Veolia has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support Officer to join the Portland onsite team.

What you'll be responsible for

• Coordinate and manage training, training records and spreadsheets, complying with
• both Veolia & Alcoa processes, policies and procedures, to ensure that all information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible.
• Undertake operational reporting.
• Contribute to and work within the team to ensure overall team statistics are on
•  target against KPI’s.
• Coordinate and update SWI’s (JSA’s) in conjunction with relevant work groups as
• required.
• Coordinate and update both Veolia & Alcoa Safety systems  through logging and tracking of incidents, accidents, hazard or near miss reports.
• Support the coordination of onsite operations to maximise performance outcomes.

What you'll need to be successful

• Proven experience in administration with a focus on operations. 
• A high degree of computer literacy with a particular focus on spreadsheets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
