The Opportunity
We currently have a vacancy for a Treatment Operator to operate and undertake maintenance work across our Thames/Coromandel Contract. As an operator you will carry out tasks across the 3 Waters (Water, Wastewater and Stormwater).

What you'll do:

Maintenance and replacement of water, wastewater and stormwater pipelines and ancillaries

Water meter and toby installations and repairs
-
Preventive maintenance tasks
-
Logging of reports and jobs
-
Operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants
-
Repair and cleaning of plant equipment
-
Water and wastewater sampling
-
Be part of an on call roster
You’ll need:
-
Class 1 Licence essential although Class 2 Licence will be an advantage

Wheels, Tracks and Roller endorsements (however this can be arranged for the right candidate)

Experience in drain laying, wastewater maintenance or civil works an advantage
-
Good communication and organisational skills
-
Basic to Intermediate computer skills
The key to your success will be your can-do attitude and a down-to-earth flexible approach. You will also require a good practical approach along with strong teamwork skills and importantly, the ability to work autonomously in your everyday tasks.
