An exciting opportunity is presently available for a Capital Works Administrator to support our team based at our Ruapheu Contract.  Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and reporting the Capital Works response to requests for service, and financial administration matters required for the effective Capital works of the Central Region.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide the logistical and administrative link between the client request for service and the operational response of Veolia. 
  • Creation and issue of work order numbers, purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
  • Process timesheets, job costs and invoices, the creation of purchase orders
  • Ensure the completion of projects financial and operational records
  • Provide primary customer response to all enquiries and requests for service. 
  • Data cleansing and feeding information back to clients/Project Manager
  • Foster effective working relationships with internal staff; client representatives; customers and suppliers.  

What you’ll need:

  • Previous administration experience is required
  • Experience in dispatching of jobs within the water industry
  • A good work ethic with a focus on quality of work.
  • Experience with a computerised maintenance management system would be beneficial but not essential
  • Experience in Google Suite will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
