The Opportunity


Veolia ANZ is seeking a Operator/Maintainer Technician to join our water team based at Luggage Point (Pinkenba 4008). As the Technician you will be responsible for maintaining and operating the plant and equipment at the Luggage Point water treatment plant.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Maintaining fixed plant equipment by undertaking preventive, corrective and breakdown tasks.
  • Executing production tasks including inspections, diagnostics and troubleshooting. 
  • Participating in team and department plans to optimise operational performance.
  • Contributing to a safety first and continuous improvement culture.
  • Inducting contractors and supervising their work, where required. 
     

What you'll need to be successful

 

 

  • Trade qualifications or background working on industrial equipment.
  • Experience in general plant operations would be highly regarded.
  • Willingness to obtain a cert 3 in water treatment (supported by Veolia).
