Title:  State Manager Collection Services - WA

The Opportunity

This is the perfect opportunity for someone from a waste management, transport or logistics background who wants to move their management career to the next level. As our Collection Service Manager, you will be responsible for the collection and transport of associated waste activities for Veolia, within Western Australia. Based in Welshpool (6106), you will work through your Operations Managers to oversee activity across six sites, ensuring resource allocation and operational activities are managed in a manner consistent with achieving budgeted financial targets and compliance procedures. Your cost control, stakeholder management skills and ability to embed and maintain consistent and effective processes across all sites will be essential to your success.

What you'll be responsible for

• Manage team performance and planning for the achievement of goals and objectives.
• Deliver the budget for the Western Australian Collection Services division
• Manage the delivery of the Waste Collection Services business in line with the KPIs assigned
• Manage the organisation of resource allocation to ensure the achievement of business objectives and associated KPIs
• Contribute to business opportunity evaluation and new business bid preparation
• Manage and ensure compliance with relevant industrial instruments for direct reports (Awards and EBAs)
   

What you'll need to be successful

• Tertiary qualifications in Business (Management or Logistics) and/or 10 years equivalent workplace experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in management and leadership in order to maintain an engaged workforce
• Demonstrated experience in finding and driving organisational efficiencies
• Demonstrated experience in Change management
• Demonstrated success in managing safety and environmental matters within regulatory and legislative requirements
