The Opportunity
Veolia is seeking a Planner / Scheduler to join the dynamic team in Perth, Western Australia. This is a permanent, full-time position for the right candidate who demonstrates experience in administration and planning. This can either be based full time in Perth or FIFO to site.

What you'll be responsible for

You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring all requests are responded to and actioned in a timely manner, while providing daily/weekly progress reports during major shutdowns and coordinating with other business units for additional resourcing when required.

You will manage and update rosters, oversee the coordination of external subcontractors and labour hire employees.

You will oversee the scheduling and utilisation of all equipment, monitor site verification of kits to ensure quality documentation is supplied, and escalate any procurement issues relating to materials from internal stores and external suppliers.

You will ensure all aspects of project planning and execution are effectively coordinated, maintaining high standards across scheduling, resource utilisation, and compliance with quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
What you'll need to be successful

You have demonstrated experience in maintenance and shutdown planning within industrial facilities

You have a proven track record in implementing continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and enhancing processes

Project Management or Logistics degree or a similar qualification is highly desirable

Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders

You have advanced knowledge of database and spreadsheet functions
