The Opportunity

Based in Auckland, and reporting to the Project Coordinator, the CCTV Operator is responsible for performing CCTV inspections and condition assessments, including related administrative tasks. They must ensure service delivery aligns with Veolia New Zealand's commitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and customer service, while also meeting KPIs and adhering to quality and safety procedures.
The role requires a proactive approach to improvement by suggesting new ideas, questioning current practices, and striving for greater efficiency and better operational results. The CCTV Operator is also tasked with developing and maintaining strong, effective working relationships with Veolia New Zealand staff, client representatives, and customers, in line with the company's Vision and Mission Statements.

What you'll be responsible for
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Deliver CCTV Inspection and Condition Assessment services
- Ensure all CCTV equipment is appropriately and regularly maintained.
- Contribute to the district based operations teams and provide general operation and maintenance assistance as appropriate.
- Contribute to the management of the Health and Safety, Quality and EnvironmentalManagement Systems while applying the procedures in all aspects of work and comply with the requirements of Veolia New Zealand New Zealand Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Policy Statements,
- Comply with the requirements of the company business management system and the Quality Policy for drinking water, wastewater treatment and disposal to contribute to the company commitment to provide safe, high quality drinking water and wastewater services that consistently meets or exceeds the requirements of the Contracts.
- Report any problems with the business management system, particularly in relation to the management of occupational health and safety, environment and drinking water.
- Willingness to work across New Zealand away from Auckland in a small team
What you'll need to be successful
Qualifications:
- Relevant qualification in CCTV condition assessment.
- Minimum Pipe Inspection Manual Ver 3 (Ver 4 Preferable)
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Experience:
- 5+ Years CCTV inspection and condition assessment including full logsheets
- In forward CCTV and Flushing works
- In Vacuum Loading and Jetting of sewer and stormwater networks
- Within the Water and Wastewater industry
- With WinCan software and Ipek CCTV Equipment
Other relevant skills or information:
- Computer literate.
- Current Full NZ Class 1 driver's licence
- Ability and willingness to work remotely and out of hours when required.
- Understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and Health and Safety legislation.
- Confined Space/Work at Heights/ First Aid and STMS Level 1
