The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Engineer within our Infrastructure & Cloud team to support/manage end-users and Infrastructure services located in Australia and New Zealand sites to meet Veolia’s business requirements. You will be providing a mixture of 2nd/3rd level support, proactive support as well as participation in project activities, and assisting with the day-to-day operations to support the growth of Veolia's initiatives. And in the long run, you’ll contribute to a sustainable future for Australia. 

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to second/third level technical requests raised via phone, email, face to face and incident management tool in a professional and timely manner
  • Assisting with prioritising, scheduling and escalating incidents to appropriate channels
  • Using your strong understanding of Microsoft EUC related technologies to build and support a complex and distributed EUC environment
  • Building and updating the desktop standard operating environments including software and application change and release management
  • Documenting and educating end users and the service desk team with the objective of resolving incidents at first contact and reducing recurring calls
  • Monitor the performance of EUC devices and provide recommendations to ensure the effectiveness SOE & Hardware
  • Occasional travel for onsite maintenance visits to assess technical issues or implement new solutions

You’ll need:

  • Certifications/Experience in Windows desktop environments, SCCM/MECM and Citrix technologies
  • Experience in a EUC administration and support role in an enterprise organization
  • Demonstrated experience in the administration of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager / System Center Configuration Manager
  • Experience in the build and support of Windows desktops SOE
  • Experience on Operating system deployment related issues
  • Experience working in a multi-forest and multi-site Active Directory environment
  • Experience/Certifications on Windows Server and VMware vSphere
  • Experience with ServiceNow an advantage
  • General knowledge and experience with Security Products (Cybereason, Cisco Umbrella, Trend Micro technologies and other leading solutions)
