The Opportunity

An opportunity has become available for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our team.  In this role, you will lead a team of Analysts to meet the strategic financial priorities for Veolia ANZ. Reporting to the Head of FP&A you will own the analysis and reporting of consolidated results to Senior Management and our Group Finance team in Paris, you will also work closely with the Operational Finance Managers and Corporate Finance teams to ensure effective analysis to support medium and long-term financial plans.

What you will be responsible for

We are looking for a well-rounded Finance professional with strong reporting experience, analytical skills, and experience leading a team to meet Company objectives, achieve goals, and develop skills and capabilities.  Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Defining a vision and strategy for the Financial Planning & Analysis team
  • Consulting with and providing sound recommendations to the senior management team on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategies
  • Providing oversight of ongoing performance, actual results, and management reporting KPIs including components of revenue and expenses against forecasted periods, savings projects, cash flows 
  • Partnering with functions and business managers to ensure strategies are accomplished
  • Collaborating with Paris HQ reporting and analyses teams to ensure compliance and completeness of reporting provided to HQ
  • Effectively leading direct reports to meet objectives and goals


What you will need to be successful
 

  • Demonstrable experience in a global organisation with complex reporting requirements
  • A career objective to forge a long-term career in FP&A
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or other Business related degree as well as CA/CPA
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent reporting skills with strong TM1 experience preferred
  • Strong accounting experience with excellent technical knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to develop long-term strategic plans
  • Advanced analytical skills in both Excel & G-Suite
  • Demonstrated change agility
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
