The Opportunity


Veolia ANZ is seeking a Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our water maintenance team based near Lithgow 2790. As the Lead Electrical and Instrumentation Technician you will be critical in maintaining the reliability and quality of the Springvale Water Treatment Facility that services the Mount Piper Power Station (MPPS) and Centennial Coal Mines.

What You'll be Responsible for


  • Maintenance of electrical assets (including process instruments, motors, VSDs and PLCs)
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting problems with the equipment and processes.
  • Scoping and executing projects and upgrades to the facility.
  • Promoting a continuous improvement and health and safety culture.

What You'll Need to be Successful


  • Qualified licensed electrician (A grade)
  • Certificate III or IV in instrumentation - or willingness to obtain
  • Experience in HV electrical, Citect SCADA systems and water treatment operations highly regarded
