The Opportunity:

Due to growth within the Sydney region, we have a number of fantastic opportunities for Business Development Representatives to join our Waste Sales team based in Arndell Park specialising in Solid Waste.

Reporting to the State Sales & Business Development Manager - NSW, you will be responsible for seeking sales opportunities to generate an increased market share of solid waste services within the Metro Sydney market. You will be responsible for sales across a specific region and will work collaboratively to increase Veolia’s growing presence. 

Working with various SMEs, you will focus on new business opportunities, build on existing relationships, and work towards a sustainable future.

Reporting to the Sales & Business Development Manager, you’ll work in a medium-sized team, and liaise with staff members across the business to hit business targets. And you’ll learn from your team mates, as much as they’ll learn from you.

Working with a diverse range of clients, you will identify and actively pursue revenue opportunities with new clients and promote and pursue additional revenue opportunities with existing clients

You’ll need:

  • Proven experience within a previous B2B sales role
  • A Certificate IV in Business, or equivalent workplace experience
  • A track record for maintaining and developing relationships with high level stakeholders
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritise tasks and meet deadlines while driving results
  • A Valid Drivers Licence
  • Ideally competent in G-Suite, Salesforce, and SAP
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in order to clarify, resolve issues, and make decisions
