The Opportunity


We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Sourcing Specialist to become part of our dynamic Procurement Team at our Pyrmont office. This position is perfect for professionals who want complete ownership of the procurement process and are ready to elevate their procurement and sourcing career. What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Coordinating and supporting procure to pay activities including tendering, negotiations, contract awards, and execution from start to finish

  • Creating and managing purchase orders, invoices, and resolving SAP Ariba system issues

  • Establishing and negotiating agreements with vendors, onboarding new suppliers and renewing contracts

  • Managing supplier relationships and maintaining the contracts database with weekly reporting

  • Providing procurement advice to stakeholders and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and governance requirements

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Agile thinking and quick decision-making abilities with strong mental resilience to handle complex situations

  • Highly proactive approach with strong ownership mentality and ambition to grow

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills

  • Excellent organisational capabilities and attention to detail
