The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking a Category Manager Fleet to join our Procurement Team (Finance) based in Pyrmont 2009. As a Category Manager you will be responsible for partnering with stakeholders in a range of categories to plan, develop, source and manage procurement arrangements to deliver value for money and effectively meet business outcomes.
This dynamic and varied position offers you the chance to deliver expert guidance across essential disciplines, encompassing procurement excellence, project management, strategic planning, and category management expertise. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to enhance your leadership capabilities while spearheading category management initiatives and projects.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Contribute to the development and implementation of procurement category management plans and strategies to deliver value for money and meet stakeholder needs and expectations.

Consistently facilitate robust category management across Veolia’s preferred supplier agreements
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align category strategies and identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, supplier performance enhancements in accordance with the business objectives

Ensure governance compliance and provide advice and guidance to internal stakeholders to build expertise in procurement and procurement categories across the organisation

Support Procurement Operations Managers with accurate compliance reporting
What you'll need to be successful
-
3+ years experience in Procurement Category Management or supply chain management
-
High level of project management experience, with the ability to run and support multiple projects concurrently
-
Experience in driving and implementing process improvements within decentralised and complex businesses
-
Strong sense of urgency and confidence in instigating and promoting change
-
Highly driven with a focus on outcomes and results
