Due to an expansion in the business, an opportunity for an Operator has become available working in the Southern Projects team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and supportive team that has a great company culture. It will be a varied role that will provide opportunities for further upskilling and development. Depending on the project needs, there may at times be a need to work away. This position also requires an individual with flexibility to work outside normal working hours.


 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the continual promotion of Veolia’s ‘Always Safe’ safety culture
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Accurate completion of paperwork
  • Operate High Pressure Water Blasting Unit
  • Operate Vacuum Truck to Supervisors Instructions
  • Operate Hydro-excavation Unit 
  • Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner and work in the best interest of the client and the company
About You: To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
  • HR Licence (desired)
  • Hydro excavation experience (desired)
  • Vacuum loading and high pressure blasting experience (desired)
  • Be self-motivated, have the ability to work both within a team and autonomously, and be dedicated to meeting the needs of Veolia and our clientele
  • Computer literacy & the ability to complete all Veolia, and as required, clientele  documentation as required
  • Mechanical aptitude (ideal)
  • Problem-solving & decision making capability
  • Strong safety focus with a proactive approach to improving safety and risk management
