The Opportunity


 

As an Operator you will be responsible for  the operation of the following equipment: 8 x 4 hook lift truck, wheeled excavator, and forklifts. You will be required to service bins on site along with offsite general waste loads in bulk bins. You will also assist in managing stockpiles of steel located in the on site scrap steel storage yard via the wheeled excavator. 

This is a casual position which will require someone who can work flexible shifts. You would be working a combination of  8 and 12 hour shifts covering a 24/7 shift pattern and will be required to cover day, nights and some weekend work. 
 

What you’ll need to be successful:

 

  • HR license 
  • Excavator competency certificate 
  • Forklift license (desirable) 
  • HR Truck driving experience 
  • Experience working shifts (days and nights) 
  • Previously worked on large industrial site (desirable) 
  • Experience working autonomously 
  • Adaptable and hands on 
  • Safety first mindset
