The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Liquid Plant Operator based in Brooklyn, Victoria. Working in a close-knit, motivated team, you’ll operate equipment efficiently, and provide a range of support services to reach operational goals. In your day-to-day activities, you’ll operate the plant and equipment for the receipt, screening, testing and unloading of industrial liquid Waste, while complying with, and promoting, Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental policies and Site Safe Operating Procedures. And in the long run, you’ll contribute to a sustainable future for Australia. 
 

Key Duties:

  • Monitor the arrival of industrial liquid at the plant
  • Conduct screening, testing and unloading of industrial liquid waste in accordance with VES policy and procedure
  • Highlight any irregularities and seek clarification from Supervisor where appropriate · Undertake treatment of industrial liquid
  • Ensure Supervisor is kept informed of issues
  • Monitor the condition of materials and equipment to ensure they are ready for safe use

     

You’ll need:

  • HR License 
  • Previous experience operating a HR vehicle  
  • Previous experience in the waste industry 
  • Certificate II in Waste Management (desirable)
  • Dangerous Goods License (desirable) 
  • Positive Attitude and Team player 
  • Good planning and organisational skills
