Title:  Finance Analyst

The Opportunity

Join a high-performing team in our Municipal Commercial Finance function, delivering the insights and support our stakeholders need. You’ll prepare and review weekly and monthly financial and management reports, working closely with the National Municipal Finance Manager and partnering with key internal and external stakeholders.

This is a permanent full-time role based in our office in Nudgee (Brisbane).

What you'll be responsible for

• Deliver sharp financial analysis, variance reporting, and operational insights.

• Own month-end close and management reporting, partnering with operations and the National Municipal Finance Manager

• Keep the balance sheet clean—accurate reconciliations and full compliance reporting.

• Build strong cross-team relationships and handle ad hoc accounting tasks.
  
  
  

What you'll need to be successful

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent and significant accounting experience

• CA or CPA qualified (or working toward completion)

• Demonstrated experience within an accounting or financial analyst position with skills gained in a large and complex business 

• Experience with SAP, TM1 And Excel is an advantage
