The Opportunity

 

Supervise the coordination of Transport vehicles, equipment and labour within the division to ensure the efficient, cost-effective and profitable completion of jobs in accordance with safety and environmental standards, customer expectations and performance targets.

 

Reporting to the Operations Manager.

 

This is a full time permanent position based in Nudgee.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Efficiently manage routes and vehicles to meet customer needs

  • Quickly resolve customer issues and ensure timely service delivery

  • Maintain safety standards and communicate effectively with employees

  • Optimise cost control, productivity, and route efficiency 

  • Oversee driver operations, equipment maintenance, and resource allocation

 

 

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Good computer and general communication skills

  • Proficient in excel, google suite,  AS400

  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong people skills, including a strong ability to communicate and negotiate

  • A strong focus on health and safety
