An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Technical Manager to join our Hunter Water Alliance in Newcastle 2285. Leading a team of 7 professionals, you'll drive technical excellence and innovation across multiple water and wastewater  treatment facilities in the Hunter region.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Provide strategic leadership to the Technical Team

  • Drive compliance, innovation, and sustainability initiatives

  • Optimise water and wastewater treatment processes

  • Lead improvement and innovation programs

  • Manage stakeholder relationships with Hunter Water and key partners

  • Mentor and develop engineering talent

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Tertiary qualification in Chemical or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience in water/wastewater treatment operations

  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities

  • Strong technical expertise in process optimisation
