The Opportunity

 

Veolia is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Hunter Water Treatment Operations Alliance team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a team of 10 electrical professionals while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational excellence across 26 water and wastewater treatment plants.

What you'll be responsible for

 

  • Oversee all electrical works including preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance
  • Lead and mentor electrical trades and apprentices in best practices
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for electrical and instrumentation issues
  • Manage maintenance planning meetings and act as electrical lead
  • Conduct fault finding with PLC hardware and software systems
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of instrumentation equipment
  • Ensure compliance with Australian, Veolia, and Hunter Water standards
  • Manage electrical spare parts inventory and contractor relationships
  • Audit team member work and maintain safety standards

What you'll need to be successful

 

  • Electrical Trade or Engineering Qualifications
  • Electrical Supervisors Certificate (License)
  • Demonstrated experience supervising electrical maintenance of heavy industrial plant
