The Opportunity
As part of a dynamic and motivated team, you'll assume a critical role in enhancing our organisation's financial and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include accurate management of wholesale market transactions and green certificate compliance, while providing operational support through audits and payment processing. Ideal for candidates with a strong background in administration and financial reconciliation.
This is a permanent full-time position located in Newcastle, 2300.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Ensure accurate, timely storage, reconciliation, and settlement of wholesale market transactions while maintaining regulatory compliance and adherence to internal policies

Administer and audit green certificate surrenders, including tracking, documentation, and compliance reporting for environmental regulations

Handle payment and reconciliation of network and metering invoices, ensuring accuracy and contract alignment

Manage purchase orders, supplier payments, customer payment allocations, suspense accounts, and deliver accurate, timely reports while resolving discrepancies

Provide operational support through office administration tasks, audits, broker data management, payment processing, bookings, and miscellaneous activities.
What you'll need to be successful

At least 1 year’s experience in finance administration or a similar role

Experience using Excel or Google Sheets

A high attention to detail, organised, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Degree in finance, accounting or similar (desirable)
