The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our Hunter Water Treatment Plant Alliance team. As an Electrical Technician, you will provide critical electrical, control and instrumentation maintenance support for our Hunter Region water operations.
You'll work as part of a collaborative team, ensuring the reliable operation of water and wastewater treatment facilities that serve the community.

What you'll be responsible for
- Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs on electrical systems
- Conduct fault finding with PLC hardware and calibrate instrumentation
- Maintain databases and utilise digital solutions for data tracking
- Participate in on-call roster for emergency response
- Update wiring diagrams and plan scheduled maintenance tasks
- Manage spare parts inventory and maintain workshop areas
- Supervise subcontractors and mentor apprentices
- Operate under permit to work systems following strict safety protocols
What you'll need to be successful
- Electrical trade qualification
- Water operations experience preferred
- Electrical and general maintenance experience
