The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Veolia fleet replacement programme, in Brisbane overseeing the replacement of 131 vehicles over a three-year period from February 2026 to December 2028.
This is a critical role requiring strong stakeholder management, logistics coordination, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously whilst maintaining our AlwaysSafe culture.
Based out of Nudgee, this is a hybrid role with a requirement for some travel.

What you'll be responsible for
-
Coordinate vehicle delivery with vendors, body builders, and ensure timely installation of IT and safety equipment

Manage commissioning of safety systems, OBC equipment, Veolia livery

Oversee replaced vehicle disposal including lease cancellations, equipment removal, and vehicle handover logistics

Organise third-party audits, lease extensions, and ongoing maintenance of the carried-over fleet

Ensure seamless workshop transitions between incoming and departing OEMs without service disruptions

Maintain accurate records and manage vehicle registrations for NHVAS, tolls, and other subscriptions
What you'll need to be successful

Proven project management experience, ideally in fleet management, automotive, or logistics

Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills across multiple parties

Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for complex logistics

Understanding of fleet systems, vehicle compliance, and registration requirements

Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities

Current driver's licence
