The Opportunity
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced ER/IR specialist with strong Pay Compliance specialistation who is ready to elevate their career with a large and varied organisation.In this newly created role you will be responsible for ensuring organisational compliance with workplace relations, enterprise agreements, modern awards and building organisational capability relating to Pay Compliance. You will be the subject matter expert on Pay Compliance issues, working with other stakeholders to proactively identify and rectify under and overpayment risks. You will advise on, participate in or lead enterprise agreement negotiations as required, ensuring the Incorporation of Pay Obligation Review findings into all EAs.

What you'll be responsible for

Provide expert day-to-day advice on Pay Compliance matters, including Interpretation of Live Enterprise Agreements, interpretation of awards, and relevant legislation related to employee compensation.

Review trends and insights and make data led recommendations on ER/IR and Pay Compliance metrics

Manage and coordinate responses to complex internal and external Pay Compliance audits.

Collaborate with Payroll, UKG Pro and HRIS teams to ensure industrial instrument interpretations are accurately configured in payroll systems.

Ensure all Industrial Relations matters are managed compliantly in terms of Pay regulations

Support the adherence to all regulator and government requests and queries, which relate to pay legislation
What you'll need to be successful

Demonstrated high-level experience and expertise in Pay Compliance, payroll legislation, and interpretation of industrial instruments within a large organisation.

Tertiary qualification in HR/IR or equivalent industry experience in a similar role (essential)

Demonstrated high level experience as an ER/IR practitioner in a large organisation

Demonstrated experience in written advice re interpretation of legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and industrial relations strategy
