The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking a highly motivated Condition Monitoring Technician to undertake and manage the condition assessment program for our Water Assets across the Greater Brisbane region on the Western Corridor Recycled Water Scheme.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for delivering the ongoing integrity and performance of our critical water infrastructure through comprehensive condition monitoring and maintenance planning. You will work closely with our maintenance teams, utilising cutting edge computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and innovative inspection tools to plan, prioritise, and coordinate condition assessment activities.
This is a hands on role working closely with the maintenance team across multiple sites including Ipswich 4305, Murrarie 4172 & Pinkenba 4008.

What you'll be responsible for
- Undertake condition monitoring for QLD manufactured water assets, recording results in CMMS and other systems
- Plan and coordinate with supervisors to prioritise condition assessments
- Coordinate the delivery of condition monitoring work packages
- Assist with maintenance and shutdown planning
- Provide planning, reporting (including detailed condition summary), and support to the line manager
- Coordinate and liaise with contractors for condition monitoring activities
- Recommend improvements to condition assessment methods and maintenance management systems
- Coordinate opportunistic condition monitoring with ongoing operations
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and escalate matters promptly
- Assist with plant commissioning, operations, optimisation, and performance
- Comply with Veolia's OH&S, Environmental, and Quality policies
What you'll need to be successful
- Either a Trade Certificate in Instrumentation/Electrical OR a degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of Quality, Environmental and Safety Management Systems
- Understanding of ISO quality assurance systems and processes
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
