We’re seeking an experienced Control Systems & OT Infrastructure Coordinator to lead the operational technology backbone of Queensland’s Western Corridor Recycled Water Project. Beyond maintenance, this is a strategic role where you will drive digital transformation, modernise control architecture, and champion cyber-resilience. What you'll be responsible for

• Operations & Asset Management

  • Oversee coordination, operation, and maintenance of control systems and OT infrastructure

  • Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate routine and breakdown maintenance

  • Implement changes and upgrades to the control and telemetry systems

  • Participate in on-call roster with site attendance as required

  • Develop asset management strategies and manage OPEX/CAPEX budgets
    
    

  Leadership & Strategic Planning

  • Lead and mentor technical staff and direct reports

  • Drive digital transformation and system modernisation initiatives

  • Manage vendor relationships and system integrators

  • Develop OT infrastructure standards and best practice

  • Provide technical guidance on control system architecture
    
    

  Security & Compliance

  • Coordinate OT infrastructure security and cybersecurity compliance

  • Manage system resilience, redundancy, and disaster recovery

  • Ensure adherence to OH&S, environmental, and quality requirements

  • Champion our Always Safe Charter across all operations

What you'll need to be successful

• Proven experience in operations and  maintenance, specifically with controls and/or telemetry systems
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability
• Strong technical problem-solving capability in complex control environments
• Proven technical expertise in control systems architecture and design, with preference for experience in Schneider PLC Control Suite and Citect SCADA/Historian systems.
