The Opportunity

Due to significant growth in Veolia’s Energy team, we have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Services Lead to be based on the Sunshine Coast.

What you'll be responsible for

  • Managing electrical and generation assets, including PV, BESS, EV charging and control systems.
  • Lead and supervise all electrical works within relevant safety compliance requirements.
  • Performing the role of a QTP
  • Lead and mentor the team of Technicians and Apprentices.
  • Undertake design, commissioning along with preventative and breakdown maintenance of assets.
  • Small project works 
  • Detailed record keeping

What you'll need to be successful

  • Electrical fitter or mechanic trade.
  • Extensive trade experience (5+ years), with a focus on control systems.
  • Previous experience with the design and installation of solar systems.
  • Strong leadership credentials with the ability to grow and lead a team.
  • Solar industry experience
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional regard for customer service.
  • Valid drivers licence and reliable transport.
