The Opportunity

Looking for steady work where you can put your HR licence and practical skills to use?

Join Veolia’s Water team in Lithgow, 2790 and help keep an essential water facility running. You’ll operate hook lift trucks, lend a hand with maintenance and work alongside tradespeople. You don’t need water industry experience—we’ll provide on the job training.

This is a hands on role with a mix of driving, equipment operation and site work. You’ll:

• Operate hook lift trucks and other site equipment, including telehandlers and forklifts, with the required training and licences.
• Assist tradespeople with maintenance, repairs and equipment upgrades.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and report faults.
• Keep sheds and work areas clean, and handle material safely using site procedures.
• Record routine maintenance and breakdown details in the system.

What You'll Need

• A current HR truck licence—essential.
• A reliable approach and willingness to get stuck in.
• A commitment to working safely and following instructions.
• Experience in an industrial, processing or maintenance environment would be useful.
