Veolia is seeking an experienced Planning & Reliability Engineer to lead asset management and maintenance planning at our Springvale Water Treatment Facility in Lithgow. What you'll be responsible for

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead compliance and strategy – Develop and implement asset management plans that ensure operational availability and asset integrity

• Optimise maintenance delivery – Create and manage work orders for routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance across all assets

• Drive reliability – Establish condition monitoring programs, conduct root cause analysis for incidents, and implement corrective actions

• Plan for the future – Develop capital replacement programs and long-term preventive maintenance strategies

• Manage resources – Oversee inventory, spare parts assessment, and CMMS system updates

• Deliver results – Prepare budgets, reports, and KPIs; lead Reliability Centred Maintenance workshops

• Champion improvement – Support problem-solving initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement across operations and maintenance teams

What you'll need to be successful

• Engineering qualifications or experience deemed equivalent
• Advanced understanding of CMMS in an industrial environment
• Knowledge of chemical, mechanical and electrical assets
• Maintenance and shutdown work pack experience
