Title:  Mechanical Fitter

The Opportunity

Veolia is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join our team near Lithgow, 2790. Within this role you will be responsible for performing planned, corrective and responsive maintenance services on a diverse range of water equipment.

What you'll be responsible for

• Providing an effective and timely first line routine and breakdown maintenance service.
• Ensuring effective management and reporting. 
• Assisting with establishment and management of maintenance programs. 
• Implementing changes and upgrades to equipment.
• Providing support to plant operations and projects.
• Building and nurturing strong stakeholder relationships. 
• Driving process improvements and efficiencies to ensure optimisation. 
• Participating in a safety first and continuous improvement culture. 
• Supporting the vision of an inclusive and innovative company. 

What you'll need to be successful

• Trade Qualifications as an Engineering Tradesperson - Mechanical - Cert III in Engineering Trade (Mechanical Fitter) or equivalent trade
• Current driver’s License
