Title:  Apprentice Electrician

The Opportunity

Veolia ANZ is seeking an apprentice electrician for our Springvale Water Treatment Facility in Lithgow. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the electrical trade through a combination of on the job training and classroom instruction while working on critical water infrastructure. As an apprentice, you will learn from highly experienced technicians in a supportive team environment.

What you'll be responsible for

• Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

• Study electrical theory, codes, and safety practices specific to water/utilities environments.

• Assist licensed electricians with the routine plant issues & troubleshooting.

• Operate hand and power tools used in industrial electrical work.

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.

• Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and properly secured per plant regulations.

• Developing technician competency enabling you to become a qualified tradesperson. 

• Provide assistance to the team during general team assignments

• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
